The Art of Housekeeping: Luxury Housekeeper Training
Protect valuable interiors from damage and achieve consistently high housekeeping standards without constant supervision
Our expert visits your property, evaluates the household staff’s performance and provides practical training in safe techniques using the materials, equipment and processes found in your home.
This is not a standard course. It is a bespoke housekeeping programme tailored to your interiors, your family’s routine and the required level of service.
1 to 5 days · For one employee or an entire team · UAE and international locations · Strict confidentiality
A Home That Operates as a System
Even experienced household staff make mistakes when requirements are communicated verbally, responsibilities are unclear and employees use different housekeeping methods.
Such mistakes can be costly: stone loses its shine, wood and metal surfaces become damaged, glass is left streaked, personal belongings are moved from their designated places and service quality varies between shifts.
On-site training is recommended if:
- mistakes continue despite repeated feedback;
- housekeeping quality is inconsistent;
- staff work slowly or without coordination;
- there are no unified standards or checklists;
- cleaning products are selected or dosed incorrectly;
- areas of responsibility are not clearly defined;
- damage is discovered too late;
- the household manager must supervise every stage.
A single mistake when caring for marble, wood, leather, metal, antiques or designer sanitaryware may cost more than professional training.
The programme transforms housekeeping from a collection of individual tasks into a manageable system with unified standards, clear responsibilities and measurable results.
Training Takes Place in Your Home
The trainer visits your apartment, private home, residence, villa, yacht or another property.
The programme is developed with consideration for:
- the materials and specific features of the interior;
- the family’s requirements and daily routine;
- the composition and qualifications of the household team;
- the allocation of responsibilities;
- the products, tools and equipment currently in use;
- the organisation of housekeeping and storage areas;
- previous incidents and recurring mistakes;
- the required level of service.
Employees perform their usual duties in real working conditions. The expert observes their actions, identifies unsafe methods and corrects mistakes immediately.
Recommendations are created specifically for your property and your team rather than for a hypothetical household.
How an On-Site Programme Differs from a Standard Course
A group course provides essential professional knowledge. On-site training addresses the specific needs of an individual home.
The trainer works with your interiors, equipment, products, employees and existing procedures. In addition to training, the client receives a risk assessment, practical correction of mistakes, recommendations on equipment and supplies, and tools for ongoing quality control.
This approach allows new methods to be incorporated into daily operations immediately and prevents employees from returning to their previous habits after completing a course.

How the Programme Works
1. Confidential Consultation
We discuss the property, team structure, current challenges, recurring mistakes, the principal’s expectations and the household manager’s objectives.
2. Property Assessment
The expert assesses the interior, housekeeping quality, staff performance, workflow routes, service areas, products, tools and equipment.
3. Bespoke Programme
We identify priorities and include only relevant topics. Most of the time is devoted to tasks carrying the greatest risk to valuable property and service quality.
4. Practical Training
Employees perform their regular duties under the trainer’s supervision. Mistakes are reviewed and corrected during the work itself.
5. Staff Assessment
Depending on the selected format, we assess professional knowledge, attention to detail, speed, discipline, ability to learn, accountability and compliance with standards.
6. Recommendations and Implementation Plan
The client receives independent conclusions regarding staff, processes, equipment and recommended next steps.

Quality-Control Tools for the Household Manager
On-site training may be supplemented by the development of a management framework:
- standard operating procedures;
- quality-control checklists;
- method statements;
- a responsibility matrix;
- a damage and incident log;
- a shift-handover form;
- a problem-escalation procedure;
- onboarding materials for new employees.
We do not replace the household manager or assess their performance in front of the team. Our role is to provide independent professional tools that improve discipline and make results measurable.
Train, Restrict Duties or Replace?
If an employee is reliable, loyal and well suited to the family, professional training is often more effective than hiring a replacement.
The assessment helps determine whether the employee:
- meets the required standards;
- can reach the required standard after training;
- requires additional practice or supervision;
- can safely perform a limited range of duties;
- does not demonstrate the necessary ability to learn or level of responsibility.
The client receives a neutral professional recommendation: develop the employee, adjust their duties, strengthen supervision or consider a replacement.
The final staffing decision always remains with the client.
