Impeccable Service Tailored to Your Residence
Very Important Personnel, an international private staffing agency, provides bespoke on-site training at the client’s residence. Our experts assess the household team’s actual performance, mitigate risks and introduce standards aligned with the family’s lifestyle, the property’s unique features and the principal’s expectations.
We train housekeepers, maids, wardrobe managers, estate managers, butlers, private waiters and other categories of household staff in private homes, apartments, residences, villas, yachts and other luxury properties.

Not a Standard Course, but a Precise Service Setup
The requirements of a private residence cannot be fully recreated in a classroom. Every family has its own routine, preferences and expectations of impeccable service. Every property has a unique interior, wardrobe, tableware, equipment, service areas and team structure.
This is why training takes place where the employees work every day.
The expert observes the staff’s real working practices: how they clean, care for clothing and valuable items, set the table, serve principals and guests, coordinate with one another, hand over shifts and respond to unexpected situations.
Mistakes are corrected during the work itself, while recommendations are developed specifically for the residence, without generic solutions or purely theoretical lectures.
When You Trust Your Staff but Are Not Fully Confident in the Result
Even reliable and experienced employees may fall short of the required standard when procedures exist only as verbal instructions, responsibilities are unclear and professional methods have not been formally established.
On-site training is particularly valuable when:
- Service quality depends on a particular employee or shift.
- Mistakes continue to occur after feedback has been given.
- The principal has to supervise every detail personally.
- Valuable surfaces, garments and textiles are exposed to risk.
- The household team works slowly or without coordination.
- Incidents and damage are not recorded promptly.
- There are no procedures, checklists or clear areas of responsibility.
- New employees learn through trial and error.
- Loyal staff lack professional training.
A single mistake in caring for marble, wood, cashmere, silk, collectible tableware or a valuable decorative object may cost more than structured training for the entire household team.
Our objective is not merely to correct isolated issues. We make service quality consistent, responsibilities clear and results measurable.

The programme content and depth are determined by the needs of the residence, the household team structure and the maturity of the existing processes.

Household Service Standards
Professional service in a private residence is defined by more than technical skills. Discretion, confidentiality, appropriate boundaries and the ability to anticipate the family’s needs without being intrusive are equally important.
All programmes may include:
- Professional ethics, hierarchy and protocol.
- Confidentiality and personal boundaries.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Speech, posture and body language.
- Quiet and discreet working practices.
- Attention to detail.
- Emotional resilience.
- Professional response to feedback.
- Household team coordination.
- Prompt reporting of mistakes and incidents.
- Procedures for unexpected situations.
Staff learn to be attentive without being intrusive, efficient without creating unnecessary activity and independent without exceeding established boundaries.
How the Project Works
1. Confidential Consultation
We discuss the property, household team, family routine, current concerns, previous incidents and the desired outcome. Access to sensitive information is not required until it becomes genuinely necessary for the project.
2. On-Site Assessment
The expert assesses actual staff performance, service areas, equipment and current processes. Particular attention is paid to operations presenting the greatest risk to property, privacy and service quality.
3. Bespoke Programme
Only relevant topics are included. The programme’s content, duration and depth are determined by the specific requirements of the residence.
4. Practical Training
Employees perform their usual duties under the trainer’s supervision. Errors are corrected immediately in relation to methods, sequence, product selection, communication and teamwork.
5. Staff Assessment
Depending on the selected format, we assess knowledge, attention to detail, discipline, speed, trainability, accountability, response to feedback and ability to follow established standards.
6. Recommendations and Implementation
The client receives independent conclusions regarding staff, processes, equipment and recommended next steps. Working documents and follow-up inspections can be provided when required.
Benefits for the Principal
- Reduced risk of damage to interiors, wardrobes and valuable items.
- Consistent quality across employees and shifts.
- Service aligned with the family’s habits and expectations.
- Less need for personal supervision of daily operations.
- Prompt reporting of mistakes, damage and incidents.
- A more independent and coordinated household team.
- Independent assessment of employees’ professional potential.
- Clear recommendations regarding development, restricted duties or replacement.
- A confidential report and structured action plan.
The project is designed not to create overly visible service, but to establish calm, precise and discreet household operations.
Benefits for the House Manager
- Consistent methods and standards.
- Clear allocation of responsibilities.
- Practical tools for assigning and reviewing tasks.
- Checklists, records and shift handover forms.
- A formal procedure for recording damage and incidents.
- Recommendations on equipment and service-area organisation.
- An evidence-based foundation for necessary changes.
- Tools for onboarding new employees.
- The ability to demonstrate measurable results to the principal.
We do not replace the residence manager or assess their performance in front of the team. Our role is to strengthen their professional position and provide practical tools for maintaining discipline and controlling quality.
From Training to a Sustainable Operating System
Upon request, the on-site project may include the development of a practical management framework:
- Standard operating procedures.
- Quality-control checklists.
- Task-specific procedure guides.
- Responsibility matrix.
- Task assignment and acceptance forms.
- Asset movement records.
- Damage and incident logs.
- Shift handover forms.
- Rules for working with contractors.
- Issue-escalation procedures.
- Onboarding materials for new employees.
Knowledge remains within the residence even when the team changes.
Train, Reassign Responsibilities or Replace?
If an employee is reliable, loyal and personally well suited to the family, professional training is often more effective than beginning a new recruitment process.
An independent assessment helps determine whether the employee:
- Already meets the required standards.
- Can achieve the required level following training.
- Requires additional practice or supervision.
- Can safely perform a limited range of duties.
- Requires their responsibilities to be adjusted.
- Does not demonstrate the required trainability or accountability.
The client receives a neutral professional recommendation: develop the employee, redistribute responsibilities, strengthen supervision or consider replacement. The final staffing decision always remains with the client.
Service Formats

Control
For clients who require not only staff training but also an independent assessment of the team and practical management control tools.
Includes everything in the “Training” format, employee assessment, a working session with the residence manager, a corrective action plan, a confidential report and follow-up control after 30–45 days.
System
For comprehensive optimisation of household operations and the implementation of consistent standards throughout the residence.

The final fee depends on the size and complexity of the property, team structure, current process maturity, required documentation, project duration and location. Travel, visa and accommodation expenses are calculated separately.
Follow-Up Quality Control After 30–45 Days
A follow-up assessment determines whether the new standards have become part of the team’s daily routine.
The expert evaluates implementation of the recommendations, compliance with procedures, use of checklists and logs, allocation of responsibility, quality of shift handovers, recurring errors and the team’s ability to work without constant instruction.
The client receives a comparative analysis, an updated risk map and an action plan for the following 30–90 days.
Follow-up control is included in the “Control” and “System” formats. It may be ordered separately for the “Training” format.
Practising Household Service Experts
Projects are delivered by specialists with extensive experience in five-star hotels, private residences and premium hospitality.
Depending on the programme, the project may involve experts in private residence service, professional wardrobe care, VIP hospitality and private household management.
A trainer and an agency director may attend the property. The trainer is responsible for assessment and practical preparation, while the director ensures alignment with the client’s objectives, reviews household team organisation and prepares the final recommendations.
Each participant receives a personalised certificate, practical materials and 30-day access to a relevant online course to reinforce their knowledge.

Request a Preliminary Project Plan
Tell us about the property, your household team and the areas requiring improvement. We will recommend the appropriate programme, duration and service format.
We do more than train employees. We identify the reasons behind recurring mistakes, reduce operational risks and establish standards that can be monitored after the project is completed.
We protect the value of your property, elevate your household team and create a system that operates without your constant involvement.
